Fifth and Final Meeting in İzmir
The final meeting commenced with a welcome speech followed by key discussions focused on project results and final preparations for the international conference. Partners reviewed the tools developed during the project, including the Family Guide Program, Peer Guide Tools, and the Student Guide, as well as updates on the EU Teacher Network, lesson plans, and observation forms. These reviews provided a comprehensive evaluation of the project’s achievements and contributions.
The afternoon session concentrated on the project’s final report, where progress updates were shared, and contributions from all partners were discussed. A detailed timeline and next steps for completing the report were established to ensure timely submission and high-quality documentation of the project outcomes.
The centerpiece of the meeting was the International Conference on Flipped Learning, held at Ege University. The day began with conference registration, an opening ceremony, and a keynote speech addressing the significance and future of flipped learning in education.
The conference included a panel discussion featuring:
- Pre-class Activities: Presented by 3GYM.
- In-class Activities: Presented by HDAL.
- Post-class Activities: Presented by IIS.
- Quantitative Research Results: Presented by Universum College.
Afternoon sessions showcased presentations by project partners on school implementations and insights from the flipped learning model. Strategies for project dissemination were also discussed, focusing on platforms and methods to share results with a broader audience.
The final day included a school visit organized by HDAL, where partners observed practical applications of flipped learning in a classroom setting. The visit provided valuable insights into the real-world impact of the project on teaching and learning practices.
The meeting concluded with cultural visits to Ephesus, Şirince, and the House of Virgin Mary, providing an opportunity for partners to reflect on the project’s success and their collaborative efforts.
